ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. John Gillman is the author of Possessions and the Life of Faith. A Reading of Luke-Acts and of many articles in journals like the Catholic Biblical Quarterly, the Journal of Biblical Literature, and Bible Today. He is a lecturer in the department of religious studies at San Diego State University and has received his doctorate at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
