Going Beyond the Wound
Men today face a crisis of spirituality. Many find themselves adrift in a sea of shifting values and cultural sensitivities. With their boats taking water, and with no place to drop anchor and make repairs, many feel spiritually disoriented, even lost at sea. This book will benefit any man seeking clarity on his journey through life. It names their wounds. It teaches them how to anchor their lives in Christ. It lays out a way of finding healing, rest, and safe haven in the wounds of the Risen Lord.
“A timely and ‘profoundly pragmatic’ book from a master in the spiritual life. It should be read in a spirit of prayer. It is essential reading for men and those who guide them in the spiritual life.”
Deacon James Keating, Ph.D Institute for Priestly Formation Creighton University, Omaha. NE
“Going Beyond the Wound is a call for men to flow, rather than drift, with their faith. All will be awakened to hearing the invitation to embrace Christ’s friendship in ways that can surely stir new spiritual life and hope in today's anxious world.”
Robert J. Wicks Editor, Prayer in the Catholic Tradition
